I am a graphic designer exploring identity, materiality and emotional storytelling through print and tactile media. My work combines research-led concepts with handcrafted processes, focusing on memory, sensory experience and human connection.

“In Search of a Scent” explores the relationship between scent, memory and emotional experience through editorial design and tactile storytelling. The book investigates how scent can trigger personal memories, emotions and a sense of identity, translating invisible sensory experiences into visual and physical form.
Through typography, imagery and material experimentation, the project creates an immersive narrative that encourages slow interaction and reflection. The publication combines research with intuitive visual language, using texture, composition and sequencing to communicate the fleeting and deeply personal nature of scent.
The project reflects my interest in sensory design, materiality and emotionally driven communication, while exploring how graphic design can transform intangible experiences into physical objects.
The BA Graphic and Digital Design programme is rooted in experimentation across digital and analogue media, deep collaboration and a focused engagement with visual and material culture. We are a community of visual thinkers and makers, passionate about typography and language, narrative and storytelling, motion graphics and moving image, art direction, photography and image making. We understand design as broad and complex, multi-layered and detailed, crafted and accidental. Combining professional practice and creative research with technical skills, our programme develops curious students into designers of the future.
