My practice is driven by experimentation across photography, sound, video and digital media, with a particular interest in creating immersive and atmospheric experiences. I enjoy exploring how different forms of media can work together to build a sense of place, emotion and narrative.
This project focused on developing a surreal masquerade-inspired world through photography, image manipulation, sound design and moving image.
Using masks, costume elements and layered visual compositions, I created a series of outcomes that explored themes of identity, mystery and performance. Throughout the project, I experimented with Photoshop, Premiere Pro and sound design to transform still images into a more immersive experience.
The work helped me develop a stronger understanding of world-building and reinforced my interest in creating interactive and experiential forms of visual communication that encourage audience interpretation and engagement.
The BA Graphic and Digital Design programme is rooted in experimentation across digital and analogue media, deep collaboration and a focused engagement with visual and material culture. We are a community of visual thinkers and makers, passionate about typography and language, narrative and storytelling, motion graphics and moving image, art direction, photography and image making. We understand design as broad and complex, multi-layered and detailed, crafted and accidental. Combining professional practice and creative research with technical skills, our programme develops curious students into designers of the future.
