Social processes in design emphasises creation of distinct yet interconnected urban rooms, each contributing to a larger network of meaningful places that support repeated activities. These interventions are not isolated moments but form a web of interactions, experiences, and relationships. They are adaptable, serving multiple functions while responding to a variety of user needs and spatial scales. Each intervention adds layers of social, ecological, and cultural value, fostering connections between people and places, the built and the natural environment, and the past and the future. This project focuses on the urban residential square in which a series of connected spaces (outdoor rooms) form a network of public activation nodes, transforming the site into a place where people connect with each other and nature.
