Film Studies Graduate 2025

My project is based and themed on the concept of childhood toys and how our toys shape us as people growing up and form as into the current people we are today. for my project i decided to create a series of stills of people’s childhood toys as a photography portfolio and showcase these toys in a childhood and playful manner in reference to memories they have had in their childhood. as for the exhibition part of my project, i have decided to utilise time capsules as a way to showcase these childhood memories by putting my pictures of the childhood toys inside the capsules all inside of a glass bowl container allowing for people to open up the time capsules as people do when storing a past memory and opening up to reminisce and remember the memories that they have had which i feel perfectly represents and replicates my projects aim as well as the feeling i am trying to convey.
