BA Drama

An Unanswered Call

A contemporary solo performance exploring Queerness Blackness, love, and desire. Blending original writing with performance art, projected media, dance and song, the performer opens up a space for complex emotion, drawing out tensions between intimacy and indifference, pleasure and boredom. The action moves between everyday life and work in contemporary London, and a deeper, intercultural, intergenerational, sense of belonging, as ancestral voices guide the performer to a renewed sense of self.
