I’m a designer who is interested in a multidisciplinary approach. My aim is to keep expression and experimentation at the forefront of my work. My main areas of interest are illustration and branding.
My work explores the concept of Digital Death through imagining our digital selves as separate bodies capable of dying. As digital spaces advance, we become more intertwined with our virtual bodies. By visually portraying their deaths, the existence of these bodies becomes more palpable. The project also speculates how the loss of the virtual body could be grieved through a set of urns.
The BA Graphic and Digital Design programme is rooted in experimentation across digital and analogue media, deep collaboration and a focused engagement with visual and material culture. We are a community of visual thinkers and makers, passionate about typography and language, narrative and storytelling, motion graphics and moving image, art direction, photography and image making. We understand design as broad and complex, multi-layered and detailed, crafted and accidental. Combining professional practice and creative research with technical skills, our programme develops curious students into designers of the future.
