Hi! I’m Devika, a Graphic and Web Designer specializing in branding, interface design, and creating accessible digital experiences.

For my final project, I decided to create a website about chai culture. My love for tea and wanting to share the incredible variety of Indian chai motivated me to create this website. I focused on exploring the rich traditions of chai, explaining its history, health benefits, and sharing authentic recipes that anyone can follow at home. I started with research, then developed user personas, empathy mapping, and journey mapping to understand my audience. I created wireframes in Adobe XD and prototyped in HTML before building a custom WordPress theme from scratch, ensuring it was accessible and performed well. The biggest challenge was learning WordPress and organising the content, but through testing, feedback and iterations, I refined the design. Creating Chaiblend was rewarding, and I learned so much from this course and project. This project confirmed my love for web design and my passion for crafting seamless digital experiences.
