Media and Communication Graduate 2026
Hello, I am Allana and I am a media and comms student with roots in A-Level media and a sustained interest for media theory, arts, and crafts. I specialise in the development of tones of voice, narrative flow and idea conceptualisation, and am interested in work that encourages critical reflection and embodied practices.

Utilising a collaborative, research-driven approach to my work, my practice centres on experiential design and socially engaged creative methods. Folded Dialogue showcases a participatory installation, using collective origami folding to explore presence and conversation through tactility. Having designed origami workshops, the processes of hands-on making and spatial design resulted in an environment that encouraged meaningful interaction, reflection and embodied creativity.
Our BA Media and Communications programme provides an academic, creative and critical understanding of the media for roles in a variety of creative industries and backgrounds. By the end of our Media and Communications degree, you’ll know how to produce creative content across different kinds of media, including writing, camera use, sound recording and post-production/editing. The course supports students in developing a broad portfolio of independent critical and creative outputs, and to explore how their own practice relates to the real-world media and creative industries.
