BA Animation

Eulàlia Civit

Aloha! My name is Eulàlia, I am an artist focused on 3D and VR, with a strong interest in sci-fi environment design. I enjoy creating detailed, believable worlds that support storytelling and enhance immersive experiences through thoughtful layout and design.

Beyond Time

Beyond Time is a VR experience that explores the tactility and preservation of memories through a 3D darkroom environment. It invites users to physically interact with objects like slides and photo paper, blending tangible elements with immersive storytelling to show how memories can be touched, handled, and kept alive over time.

Transcript

Futuristic animation, made in first person, resembling a VR experience. The character appears to enter a shop, where there are shelves with objects that he/she interacts with by picking them up and moving them. A female-looking character appears and indicates that she is the guardian of the memories that the character can interact with. The guardian indicates where the memories are and how to interact with them. After this, the character walks to where the memories are and starts interacting with them.

Design

Our BA Animation programme is one of the UK’s most forward-looking, industry-focused animation programmes. It combines a rich, practice-orientated mix of 2D, 3D and experimental animation with an emphasis on storytelling, character design, and immersive animation. Through a strong studio culture, our students develop and share skills across artistic direction, digital sculpting, industry-standard renderings, game design, visual effects, and innovative storytelling. The curriculum is designed to convey best practice in animation and a solid foundation for a career in the Creative Industries, with vocational skills development and student-led learning taking centre stage.
