Hi! I’m Ilayda. I’m deeply passionate about the creative world of animation, specifically designing environments and characters!
My project explores the human fascination of the unknown. Everyone has their own interpretation of the unknown, whether it be heaven, hell, limbo, purgatory, reincarnation, parallel dimensions, multiverse or even nothing. This project is a 3D animation which depicts a spiritual journey towards the divine with a playful twist!
We see a forest with big trees and a path, at the foot of one of the trees there is a creature that is falling asleep, it nods and wakes up. It gets up from the tree to discover its body, suddenly a light appears in front of it and it runs, scared to the tree again. The creature takes courage and follows the light through the forest until it reaches a large tree that radiates light and has pink leaves, it is different from all other trees in appearance and has a luminous hole in its trunk that resembles a door. The creature admires the landscape and the tree, positions itself in front of the door, says goodbye and enters the tree.
